Blade made of aluminum, turned soft maple handle, then stained, blood treatment applied (then removed), finished with a coat of amber shellac. Designed the blade style based on traditional Roman style blades.
First blacksmithing project, taking a 1 1/2 inch wrench and transforming it into an axe.
Final blacksmithing class project. Used forge weld to secure the twist handle. Applied canola oil to it once finished and baked it in to make food safe.
